As part of the Co-Funded European Programme Erasmus+ under Public Thematic SAEK Acharnon [2022-1-EL01-KA122-000079628 - FUTURE PERFECT "PRO"], two graduates specializing in "Hospitality Enterprises Staff" engaged in the Long-Term Mobility for VET Learners (ErasmusPro). This extensive 168-day placement took place in Turkey, offering a unique opportunity for practical experience and cultural immersion.
The participants were placed at the prestigious 5-star Kolin Hotel in the Çanakkale region. Our association, AKTIF GENCLIK VE SPOR KULUBU DERNEGI (AGSK), meticulously organized and supervised this experience. The comprehensive program was designed to provide a holistic experience, combining professional training with cultural enrichment.
The daily schedule for the participants included a range of activities designed to enhance both their professional skills and cultural understanding. They engaged in various cultural activities around Turkey, which allowed them to gain a deeper understanding of Turkish culture and traditions. The program also included technical visits to different hospitality establishments, providing the students with practical insights and exposure to industry standards and practices.
To facilitate better communication and integration, the participants attended Turkish language courses, which helped them in their day-to-day interactions and professional tasks. One of the key benefits of the program was the opportunity to build a robust professional network. The participants formed numerous new and meaningful friendships, both personally and professionally, which will be invaluable for their future careers.
This ErasmusPro initiative not only provided the graduates with hands-on experience in a multicultural environment but also significantly contributed to their personal and professional growth. The blend of practical work experience, cultural immersion, and language training has equipped them with the skills and confidence needed to excel in the hospitality industry.

Educational Organization SHARP MINDS, is active in the field of European Programs since the beginning of the Millennium, as an Informal Youth Group. After many years and many projects, this original fellowship, has decided to be transformed in an NGO/NPO, focused on modern issues and problems of our common European Society.
At the same time, the Organization also works as a Greek Hosting Organization in Erasmus+/VET projects and has established many cooperation around Europe through its KA2 Programs of Strategic Partnership.
Inclusion and Participation for all is our strong "moto" which follows us in our projects. Many youngsters around Greece, had the opportunity, by trusting the experience of E.O.
